An alloy wheel's finish is its protection. Once a scrape breaks the lacquer, water and road salt reach the bare metal, and corrosion starts to creep under the finish around the mark. A small mark rarely stays small. The patch that could have been refinished in one go grows into a wider area of lifting finish, and the repair grows with it. Corrosion that has got under the finish is workshop work, because the wheel has to go back to bare metal. Catching damage early keeps the job small, and a photo to us shows what yours needs.

Before you decide

Is a mobile repair as durable as a workshop refurbishment?

Mobile work suits minor scuffs and kerb marks, though the result may not last as long as an oven-finished workshop job. Anything beyond light cosmetic damage is booked into the workshop.

Can you change the colour while the wheel is being repaired?

Yes, in any colour taken from a paint code or a photo. The wheel is powder coated and cured at 180°C or painted, and the quote is based on the same photos as the repair.

Is it worth repairing a wheel before handing a lease car back?

Check your lease company's wear and tear guide first, then repair marked wheels before the inspection. Free loan wheels, subject to stock for many makes, can cover the time yours are with us.
