Alloy wheel refurbishment & repair
Send us a photo of your wheels and we'll tell you what they need within 24 hours. Every refurbishment happens at our workshop in Enfield, where each wheel is stripped to bare metal and refinished to factory standard.
Damage we repair
Kerbs, potholes, brake dust and winter salt all take their toll on alloys. Each repair at our Crown Road workshop starts by stripping the wheel to bare metal, so any damage underneath is dealt with before new paint goes on.

Scuffs and kerb damage
We reshape the damaged edge, fill it, colour-match and lacquer, leaving no visible trace of the scuff.
Corrosion and peeling lacquer
Corrosion starts under the lacquer and pushes it off the wheel. Stripping the wheel and refinishing it from bare metal is the only lasting fix.
Faded or discoloured finish
Brake dust and road grime work into the finish over time. We strip it, reapply your car's original colour and seal it with fresh lacquer.
Diamond cut faces
Lifting lacquer on a machined face needs re-cutting on a lathe, which we do on our own CNC lathe. More on our diamond cut repair page.
Buckled or cracked wheels
A pothole can bend a rim or crack it. We straighten and weld in-house before any cosmetic work starts. See buckled wheel repair and cracked alloy repair.
How we refurbish your alloy wheels
Paint sprayed over old damage looks fine for a few months, until the lacquer lifts and the corrosion shows through again. Our process starts at bare metal so the new finish has a clean surface to bond to.
Strip to bare metal
Each wheel is stripped to bare metal, taking off the old lacquer, paint and corrosion.
Repair the damage
Kerb damage, chips and surface defects are repaired next. Any structural work, such as straightening, happens at this stage too.
Match the colour
We match your car's original factory colour code.
Apply the finish
Depending on the wheel, we use powder coating cured at 180°C or specialist wet spray, both applied on-site.
Lacquer and check
A clear lacquer topcoat goes on last, and each wheel is checked before it goes back on your car.
