When someone else hit you

When you want your own insurer to pay
Tell your insurer you'd like Whoops Wheel Fix It to repair your Honda and we'll deal with them from there. Most policies let you choose your repairer, so check yours before you agree to another garage. Your policy excess and terms still apply on this route, so ask your insurer how your claim is treated.

Can I claim for a small scratch?
You can, but a small repair often costs less than the excess. Send a photo first and compare the price with your policy terms.
Do I have to use my insurer's repairer?
Most policies let you choose, but check yours. If it does, ask your insurer to send the job to Whoops Wheel Fix It.
What should I send when I'm claiming?
Photos of the damage, your claim details and your insurer's name. A close-up and a wide shot of each damaged area speed up the reply.
How long does a Honda repair take?
Minor bodywork is usually done within 24 hours. Heavier damage takes longer, and the quote says how long, so you can plan around it.
Will I get a courtesy car?
Courtesy cars aren't something we supply ourselves. When your insurance includes one, a hire company can arrange it.
