Repair or replace?

Many wheels that look beyond saving can be put right. Scuffs, kerb gouges, corrosion and bends are all repair jobs for the workshop, and a repaired original stays matched to the other three. Some cracks and bends make a wheel unsafe to repair. We say so in the quote and again before any work starts if a closer look shows more damage, and where repair is possible the price comes first so you decide with the figure in front of you.

Quick answers after a scrape

Can my Jaguar's callipers be painted with the wheels?

Yes. Callipers are cleaned, rust treated and primed, then painted in heat-resistant paint, and they can be quoted with the wheels. Photograph the calliper with the front wheel turned to full lock.

Can I get one quote for a kerbed wheel and a scratch on my Jaguar?

Yes. One set of photos gets a single price covering both, and both jobs are done in the same workshop. Larger paint damage takes longer than the usual 24 hours for minor bodywork.

How soon should lifting lacquer on my Jaguar wheels be looked at?

Soon, because water and road salt get under lifting lacquer and corrosion spreads beneath the finish. A small repair then turns into a bigger one.
