Mercedes-Benz bodywork we repair

We repair keyed or scraped paint, door dings, scuffed bumper corners, stone chips and panel resprays, all in the same building. Split bumpers are repaired or replaced, depending on the damage. Our car body repair page describes each job, and accident repair covers damage from a bump on the road. Dents are judged case by case, and your quote says which method applies.

Daylight shows paint damage better than a garage or a car park at night. Clean the area first if you can, and include the whole side of the car so we can judge the paint around the damage. For bumper damage, add a photo from the side to show how far the bumper has moved. A shot that includes your registration lets us note the exact model before we quote.

For an insurance claim, tell your insurer you'd like Whoops Wheel Fix It to repair your Mercedes and we'll deal with them from there. Most policies let you choose your repairer, so check yours. If you're paying yourself, the process is the same from the photo onwards.

Mercedes body repair questions

Will the repaired panel match the rest of my Mercedes?

The paint is mixed from your car's paint code and cured in our booth. Send a photo of the whole panel so we can see the surrounding paint.

Can I use you after an accident?

Yes, for accident damage to panels and paint. Send photos and your claim details, and we'll tell you whether the damage is within what we repair. Major collision repairs are outside what we do; if the car has structural damage, send photos and we'll say whether we can help.

How long will my Mercedes be with you?

Scratches, scuffs and small dents are usually finished within 24 hours. Several panels or deeper damage take longer, and your quote says how long.

Do you repair stone chips?

Yes. A few chips on a bonnet edge or door are repaired and blended into the paint around them.

Can you repair a dent and a scratch in the same visit?

Yes. Send photos of each mark in one message and we'll quote them together, so the Mercedes only needs to be booked in once.
