VW Polo diamond cut alloys and body repair
Polo wheels are stripped, repaired and refinished at our Crown Road workshop, and diamond cut faces are re-cut on our own CNC lathe. Paint damage on the bodywork is matched and repaired in the same building. Send a photo and we'll reply within 24 hours with a price.
How your Polo wheels are repaired at Crown Road
Shmee150 has filmed a video review of his wheels with us, and a Polo goes through the same steps.
Strip.
The old finish comes off and the wheel is taken back to bare metal.
Repair.
Kerb damage is filled, bends are straightened and cracks are welded where it is safe to do so.
Refinish.
Powder coat is cured at 180°C, or paint is matched to the existing finish. A diamond cut face is re-cut on the lathe and lacquered.
Check.
Wheels are inspected before you collect. Refurbishment takes 36 to 48 hours and diamond cut repair takes 2 working days.

Paint damage and cost
Scrapes and chips are colour-matched from the paint code. If a bigger area of paint is damaged, photos let us say what the repair involves. Our paint repair cost guide explains how pricing works.
Kerb marks
Gouged rim edges are reshaped and matched. Minor kerb damage may suit our mobile service, so send your postcode and we'll confirm. See Volkswagen kerb rash repair.
