A repaired wheel needs very little, but how you clean it matters. Use a wheel cleaner made for alloys, a soft brush and plenty of water, and leave harsh scouring pads in the cupboard. After wet or salted roads, rinse the wheels so grit and salt don't sit on the lacquer. Brake dust collects behind the spokes, so rinse there as well. Check each rim edge as you go, because a new chip or scuff found early is a quick fix, and a photo to us shows what it needs.
