How to keep your wheels off the kerb

Most kerbed wheels are caught at parking speed, on the side of the car you can't see from the driver's seat. Leaving a tyre's width of space as you pull in, and turning the steering a touch later on tight corners, keeps the rim clear of the edge. Parking sensors and a reversing camera help, so switch them on and keep an eye on the passenger side. When you wash the car, run a hand round each rim. A fresh mark found early is a smaller fix, and a photo of it tells you exactly what's needed.
