What a diamond cut face is

On a diamond cut wheel, a lathe shaves the face down to a bright, reflective metal surface. Clear lacquer is the only thing shielding that surface, so when the lacquer lifts or clouds, water gets under it and the shine starts to dull. Fixing that means taking the wheel to our CNC lathe, cutting a fresh face and applying new lacquer. Diamond cut repair is a workshop job, and it takes 2 working days. A daylight photo of the face is enough for us to say whether yours needs re-cutting.

When the paintwork takes a knock

A scratch or dent on a Swift is repaired in paint mixed from the car's paint code, and minor bodywork at the workshop is usually done within 24 hours.

How do I know if kerbing damaged my Suzuki's wheel?

Watch for shaking through the steering wheel, a pull to one side, a tyre that loses pressure or a rim that looks bent. Photos of the rim edge let us tell you what the repair would involve.

Can I get a single quote for a kerbed wheel and a dented panel?

You can. Send photos of both, and we price the two jobs together and carry them out in the same workshop. Small paint repairs are normally ready within 24 hours.

Does lacquer that is peeling off my Suzuki wheel matter?

It does, because every gap in the lacquer lets in water and road salt. Corrosion then creeps under the finish, so a repair that is small today can grow if the wheel is left.
