Audi body repair on an insurance claim or privately

Audi body repair at our Enfield body shop starts with a question: are you claiming on insurance or paying yourself? Both routes lead to the same in-house repair, painted to your car's paint code. Send photos and we reply within 24 hours.

Claiming on insurance

Tell your insurer you'd like Whoops Wheel Fix It to repair your Audi and we'll deal with them from there. Most policies let you choose your repairer, so check yours before the claim goes any further. When the accident wasn't your fault, our accident management partners handle the claim. You pay no excess and keep your no-claims bonus. A courtesy car isn't something we supply, but if your insurance includes one, a hire company can arrange it. Fault claims are handled through your own insurer once you nominate us. Our accident repair page explains the steps in more detail. Major collision repairs are outside what we take on; send photos if the structure is damaged and we'll tell you whether we can help.

Paying for the repair yourself

Private customers skip the claim and the excess. You send photos, we quote within 24 hours with no obligation, and you pay on completion by cash, card or bank transfer. Smaller repairs often cost less than an excess, which makes a private repair worth a quote first.

Audi body shop questions

Is an Audi body shop repair on insurance more expensive for me?
On a non-fault claim there is no excess to pay. On other claims your own policy terms apply, so check them or ask us for a price to compare.
Do I have to use the repairer my insurer suggests?
Most policies let you choose your repairer, but check yours. If it does, you can ask your insurer to use Whoops Wheel Fix It.
How long does Audi body repair take?
Minor bodywork is usually done within 24 hours. Several panels or bigger damage take longer, and the quote gives a timescale.
Does a repair affect my no-claims bonus?
On a non-fault claim handled by our accident management partners, your no-claims bonus is protected. For any other claim, ask your insurer how your policy treats it.
