BMW alloy wheel repair and bodywork done in-house

Our Enfield workshop runs its own CNC lathe, an oven that cures powder coat at 180°C and the kit to weld and straighten wheels. BMW paintwork is repaired in the same building. Send a photo and we'll come back within 24 hours with a price.

BMW diamond cut repair

On BMW diamond cut alloys, the bright face sits under lacquer that lets water in once it clouds. We re-cut it on our CNC lathe and lacquer it again. Diamond cut repair takes 2 working days.

BMW kerb rash repair

Scrapes and gouges on the rim edge are reshaped and refinished to match, before corrosion can creep in under the broken finish. Minor kerb rash repair can sometimes be done by our mobile service, so send your postcode and we'll confirm.

BMW brake calliper painting

Callipers are cleaned, rust treated, primed and coated in heat-resistant paint, any colour from a paint code or photo. For a brake calliper painting quote, turn the front wheel to full lock and photograph the calliper.

Questions about the workshop

Does any part of a BMW wheel repair go out to another company?
No. Stripping, welding, straightening, lathe work, powder coating and painting all happen at Crown Road. One workshop looks after your wheels from the first photo to the refit.
What can the workshop do that a mobile repair can't?
Diamond cut re-cutting, corrosion, cracks and buckles all need the workshop. Mobile repair handles minor scuffs and kerb damage for retail and trade customers, and may not last as long as an oven-cured finish. Send your postcode and we'll confirm if mobile covers you.
Why are BMW wheels stripped to bare metal first?
A new finish bonds properly to clean metal, while paint laid over an old finish can peel. We do it on every refurbishment.
